Bung Chawak
Saturday, July 19, 2014
Bung Chawak  had been abandoned as a local old big swamp fulled with wasted water plants of Doembang Nang Buat District, then Suphanburi Province Official, with the vision of Governor Charin Kanchanomai. began to develop its basic infrastructures. Since then this neglected big swamp has been improved more and more. Now Bung Chawak is the most interesting tourist site of Suphanburi Province.  Visitors all over the country have known it for years.
AQUARIUM  :
The highlight of Bung Chawak is its fresh water aquarium which now extended with sea water aquarium.  There are more sample species of fresh water fishes, especially the rare ones.

CROCODILE ZONE  :
Bung Chawak is also filled with a crocodile zone,  fresh water crocodiles,  that have been free in restricted area. Visitors could observe those reptiles on the up-level passages.  Sometimes  there is any crocodile shows the same style as famous Samutprakarn  Crocodile Farm.  For me, an old man who has no grand children, this zone of crocodiles is never be interesting.

ZOO  :
Bung Chawak is to be a park, so it has been added with a zoo.  Like other those zoos , common animals are tigers, lions, monkeys, deers, bears, birds, reptiles etc.  If you were a baby, you would be interested in it.  However the zoo once experienced with a sad story. .......
.....  Some years ago, three white big tigers of the zoo were poisoned by a local brutal robber. This horrible guy was an early retired teacher of a local elementary school in Doembang Nang Buat District of Suphanburi Province. The badman smuggled the three corpses of those white tigers to earn for his great payment in Nakorn Pathom Province. Later the brutal man was arrested and punished for only 2-3 years in prison. But this year, 2014, this brutish guy has done the worst crime, to slaughter the big male elephant in Ayudhaya Province, using the most dangerous poison, and cut his long ivory off for sale. The wicked man was once more arrested in his hometown Doembang Nang Buat. Local people condemned him for killing the valuable and popular animals whose for people and of people. If the dead white tigers and the dead big elephant were still alive, more and more people would share love with them forever.
